About Kabbalah Torah.com and our Blog....

We are very excited to bring you in-depth Torah and invaluable source references from nearly 17 years of classes given at well-known institutions by Atarah C. Gur, resident of the Land of Israel, mother, teacher and author.

All articles and Torah classes are based on traditionally transmitted sources. Atarah aids all her students in knowing where the sources are for each Jewish topic that is studied and how the Sages understand what is being hinted at within the Torah.

We hope that this www.kabbalahtorah.com encourages all to seek out these references for themselves and to discover the relevance and importance of a Torah observant life.

This blog is a great place for your questions and comments; to share and to brainstorm. It is our collective goal to understand what the Sages said and how each of them related to each other. Why did they say what they did and are their hints as to how they understood the Torah?

With her knowledge based on Torah, Hebrew, Jewish History, and Kabbalah, Atarah shares her research of the women of the Bible, Talmud and more. Bringing the Jewish Festivals together while understanding traditional Kabbalistic sources shows us the broad scope of Jews in the world.

Popular books have been written on Kabbalah including concepts about "wholesome emotional balance", yet the sources within these trendy books are sadly missing. The label "religious", and many times "Jewish Kabbalah", has been slapped on these self-help "forums" leading the readers away from true Jewish Kabbalah and the original authors intent. What are the sources and what was actually written by the Sages?

These are the questions we pose and seek to discover. If we know our sources, we stand on very solid ground.
